The Kennedy Krieger Institute’s annual Christmas fundraiser The Festival of Trees is set for the Timonium Fairgrounds 11/24 – 26 and promises to be bigger and better this year.

The event helps fund the important work for children and their families that have disabilities or injuries to their spinal cords, musculoskeletal system or brain. The institute also does important research to help children who suffer from PTSD because they have been exposed to violence or had a tough journey into our country.

On top of that they are instrumental for offering education to these same patients and helps early education to high school teachers innovate when it comes to integrating these same students into everyday classrooms across the state. Director of public Relations Jessica Gregg details all of this and how you can get involved.
