Maryland Perspectives: Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter

Share:

The Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter has been in the news a lot lately after they saved a cat from the Ft McHenry tunnel. The non profit does this through their philanthropy and their Franky fund that is supported by annual donors, business and fundraisers. They have reached critical mass when it comes to taking in animals not only as surrenders from pet owners, but from the Baltimore City Animal Control. They desperately need fosters and adopters to empty out the crates or volunteers to make sure that the dogs are walked and the cats are socialized. Director of Philanthropy and Communications Bailey Deacon talks about all of this, their excellent fundraisers and how they help pet owners keep their pets through a food pantry.
